Independent Courier Contractor

Overview As an Independent Courier Contractor, you’ll pick up, transport, and deliver shipments safely and reliably using an approved vehicle. You’ll plan routes, use mobile devices to manage delivery details, and provide professional customer service at each stop. This role combines driving with hands-on loading and unloading, so safe handling and dependable communication are essential. Duties Pick up, load, secure, transport, and unload shipments, using a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate Complete route driving and personal vehicle delivery assignments Follow delivery instructions, document shipment status on mobile devices, and communicate clearly with customers Apply safe lifting practices when moving freight, including items requiring heavy lifting or other weight handling Your impact: Careful handling and timely, courteous deliveries help customers receive their shipments in good condition. Qualifications Required: Valid driving credentials appropriate for the vehicle used, a safe driving record, and the ability to follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, commercial driving, commercial truck driving, or van driver experience; warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations Able to perform manual handling, load and unload shipments, and move freight safely Familiarity with manual transmission and material handling equipment operation, including pallet jacks, is helpful Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation, delivery updates, and recordkeeping Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
