Independent Courier Contractor - Cargo or Sprinter Van Drivers

Duties Safely load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks Drive designated routes using box trucks or personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Manage delivery schedules efficiently to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across various locations Communicate professionally with customers during delivery interactions, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs using mobile devices or route management software Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with heavy lifting practices and safe driving standards Follow warehouse procedures for receiving, storing, and moving goods when applicable Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and material movement Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial trucks is a plus but not mandatory Must own/operate cargo vans, Sprinter vans; no personal vehicles are allowed. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to weight handling, hours of service, and safety standards for commercial drivers Ability to lift heavy packages safely using proper lifting techniques and manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks Strong route driving skills with familiarity in route planning and navigation tools on mobile devices Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including moving goods and heavy lifting in warehouse settings when needed Join us as an independent contractor committed to delivering excellence!
