Duties Safely operate your personal or commercial vehicle, such as a box truck or van, to deliver packages along designated routes Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary Ensure adherence to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during all driving activities Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmations, and communication with dispatch or customers Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages accurately and courteously, addressing any questions or concerns Maintain safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, including manual transmission operation if applicable Follow proper warehouse operations procedures when loading or unloading shipments at distribution centers or storage facilities Experience Prior delivery driver experience, especially with courier services or commercial driving roles involving box trucks or vans Warehouse experience including material handling, moving goods, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks or other material handling tools Familiarity with manual handling techniques, safe lifting practices, and heavy lifting protocols in a warehouse or delivery setting Knowledge of route driving and adherence to traffic laws to ensure safety and efficiency on the road Experience operating commercial trucks or vehicles with manual transmissions is a plus but not mandatory Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally during deliveries Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely while loading/unloading cargo and managing logistics tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on independence, enjoy driving, and are committed to providing top-tier service.
