Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling. Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices and route driving tools to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines. Interact professionally with customers during drop-offs, providing courteous service and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and digital records of completed deliveries. Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition and complies with all safety regulations. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, ensuring manual handling safety at all times. Qualifications Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service principles. Valid driver’s license appropriate for your vehicle type, with a clean driving record. Knowledge of DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices. Ability to operate mobile devices for navigation, communication, and delivery documentation.
