Our services include same-day and rush delivery, from single envelopes to heavy freight, along with fleet and logistics solutions, dedicated fleet outsourcing, and customized routing Overview We are seeking an experienced, dependable Independent Contractor - Parcel Delivery Driver with a reliable caravan or similar-sized vehicle to join our logistics team in Victoria, BC. This role is for a self-employed individual. You will deliver small and medium parcels safely and efficiently to destinations around Victoria and surrounding areas while providing exceptional customer service and following road safety regulations. This role offers the flexibility to work independently while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely parcel deliveries. Location: Victoria and Surrounding Area Number of positions: 2 Days/hours of Business Operation: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Contract start date: ASAP Responsibilities Safely operate owned vehicle to deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load, unload, and organize packages efficiently using proper lifting techniques, heavy lifting skills, and equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition for daily routes. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and route records to ensure accountability and smooth operations. Collaborate with dispatch teams for route adjustments or updates, ensuring timely deliveries even in challenging conditions. Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of packages and equipment within warehouse or distribution environments. Experience & Requirements 1 to 3 years of experience in parcel delivery. Working experience with companies such as UPS, FedEx, Amazon, or other delivery services is considered an asset Must own an insured vehicle – Caravan or similar Valid WCB coverage Must be available Monday to Friday Proof of a clean driver’s abstract Confidence driving in traffic and varying weather conditions Ability to enter and exit a vehicle frequently throughout the day Strong knowledge of Victoria and the surrounding area Reliable, punctual, and responsible Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to follow directions and work independently Ability to pass a criminal background check Legally authorized to work in Canada Available to start immediately Embark on a rewarding journey where your skills make a real difference!
