Independent Contractor Owner/Operator, Box Truck or TCV Service area: Raleigh–Durham (RDU) area, NC Contract type: Independent contractor Work location: On the road Pay: $300.00–$2,500.00 per week, based on miles driven Airport Courier Service (ACS) is seeking experienced, reliable owner/operators with a box truck or TCV (Temperature-Controlled Vehicle) for pickup and delivery work serving the RDU area. This contract opportunity offers flexible scheduling and 24/7 dispatch support. What the Work Involves Pick up and deliver goods safely and on time. Operate and maintain your vehicle in good condition while following traffic laws and regulations. Obtain and print required paperwork, then complete it according to the instructions provided. Keep accurate records of pickups and deliveries. Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and consignees. What You’ll Need Your own reliable, well-maintained box truck or TCV. A clean driving record. A smartphone and strong communication and customer service skills. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A clean, presentable appearance. Smoke odor must not be detectable by ACS staff, customers, or consignees, and smoking is not permitted while packages are in the vehicle. Weekend availability is preferred but is not required.
