Independent Contractor Opportunity — Big & Bulky Delivery Teams (Box Truck or Cargo Van)

Truxi is a technology and compliance platform that connects independent delivery drivers with retailers, 3PLs, and customers that need big-and-bulky deliveries done — furniture, mattresses, appliances, and other large items. We don't operate trucks or perform deliveries. Truxi contractors do, as their own businesses. We are now onboarding two-person independent contractor teams in the San Francisco Bay Area. HOW IT WORKS You register your delivery business on the platform. It's free — no membership, subscription, or fees to contractors, ever. Retailers, 3PLs, and customers post loads. You see what's available and accept the loads you want. You can also request routes that fit your area and capacity. You deliver using your own vehicle and your own team. You invoice directly for the deliveries you complete, from your own contractor profile. You decide when you work, how much you work, and which loads you take. No schedules, quotas, or minimums. You are free to work with other platforms, retailers, and customers at any time. LMDxps is non-exclusive. WHAT YOU BRING A two-person team (you plus a helper or partner you choose) A box truck or cargo van (16–26 ft box truck, Ford Transit or similar high-roof van) that you own or lease Commercial auto insurance and general liability coverage that meets retailer requirements An active business — LLC, or sole proprietorship with an EIN (preferred) Active California Motor Carrier Permit (MCP), CA number, and USDOT number — or willingness to obtain them before accepting your first load. We'll point you to the applications; the filings are yours as the business owner. Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record verification through our third-party compliance partners Experience with in-home delivery, assembly, or white-glove service is a plus WHAT THE PLATFORM PROVIDES Access to retailer, 3PL, and customer loads in your area Compliance verification that lets retailers work with you directly Delivery ID tracking, proof-of-delivery tools, and invoicing built from your profile Fast payment processing on approved invoices Contractor support when you need it PAY Contractors are paid per completed load/delivery, invoiced from your own profile.
