Independent Contractor/Medical Courier

I am currently looking for a full-time medical driver to support lab specimen collections for Sonora Quest Lab in the Phoenix area. The contract provides long term job security and requires drivers to collect "stat" orders in clustered zones to be delivered back to the lab. This is a great opportunity to join our team. We are a reputable medical courier company committed to patient care. Our mission on this route is to collect, report, and deliver patient lab specimen in a timely and reliable manner. Our goal is to ensure that all lab specimens are transported safely and efficiently to our partnered laboratory. We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Independent Contractor driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be accountable for the timely pickup and delivery of medical specimens to the designated laboratory while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Training is required and you will be paid for two days of ride along training. Key Responsibilities include safely delivering supplies to customers and collecting medical specimens from various locations to specified laboratories. Ensuring all specimens are handled with care, maintain proper temperature and conditions as required. Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, ensuring all documentation is completed promptly and accurately. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and laboratory staff to coordinate efficient routes and schedules. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Qualifications - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Previous experience in a courier or delivery role. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. - High level of accountability and integrity in handling sensitive materials. - Must have an Android Smart Phone (NO iPhone) - Must be able to Speak, Read and Write Clearly in English. - Must have a larger, reliable, Late Model vehicle. (Large SUV, VAn or Truck) - Be able to pass a Background Check.
