Independent Contractor/Local Route Driver

Overview As an Independent Contractor/Local Route Driver, you’ll move deliveries safely and reliably from pickup to drop-off. You’ll use a personal vehicle as applicable, follow assigned routes, and provide courteous customer service at each stop. This role combines driving with delivery work. Duties Pick up, load, secure, transport, and unload deliveries. Drive local routes and complete delivery records using mobile devices. Handle moving and manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while following safe lifting practices and workplace weight-handling procedures. Provide professional customer service and follow delivery instructions. Your impact: Careful loading and safe, timely route driving help customers receive their deliveries in good condition. Qualifications Required: Valid driving credentials appropriate to the vehicle used, a safe driving record, and the ability to follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or route driving experience. Ability to load and unload deliveries and perform physical manual handling tasks safely. Familiarity with personal vehicle delivery, mobile devices, and material handling equipment is helpful. Pay: $600.00 - $1,100.00 per week Work Location: On the road
