Independent Contractor Delivery Driver – Van Required (1099)

We are seeking a reliable Independent Contractor Delivery Driver to operate a dedicated weekday delivery route using their own full-size cargo van. This is a consistent Monday–Friday route with an early morning start. The ideal contractor is dependable, organized, physically capable of loading and unloading cargo, and has a reliable full-size commercial cargo van with a backup plan in the event of mechanical issues. Vehicle Requirement Contractor must provide and maintain their own full-size cargo van suitable for high-volume delivery work. Preferred vehicles include: Ram ProMaster 159” Extended High Roof Mercedes-Benz Sprinter full-size/high-roof extended model Comparable full-size extended high-roof cargo van with similar cargo capacity Smaller cargo vans, passenger vehicles, minivans, and compact vans are not suitable for this route. Responsibilities Complete a dedicated weekday delivery route safely and on schedule Load, transport, and unload stackable totes, boxes, and similar freight Safely handle repetitive lifting throughout the route Follow established pickup and delivery procedures Maintain professional communication with customers and dispatch Keep cargo organized and secure during transportation Maintain your own vehicle, fuel, commercial insurance, and operating expenses Have a reasonable contingency plan for vehicle breakdowns or unexpected mechanical issues Notify dispatch promptly of any delays or service issues Requirements Valid driver’s license and clean, safe driving habits Reliable full-size cargo van meeting the requirements above Commercial auto insurance appropriate for delivery/courier work Ability to work independently and reliably Monday through Friday Ability to repeatedly lift and move loaded totes and packages Previous courier, delivery, route-driving, or owner-operator experience preferred Smartphone with reliable navigation and communication capability Strong attendance and dependability This is an independent contractor (1099) opportunity. The contractor is responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, maintenance, insurance, taxes, and other operating expenses. We are looking for someone interested in a consistent long-term route rather than occasional or on-demand delivery work. Pay: $260.00 - $280.00 per day Work Location: On the road
