Independent Contractor/Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are now hiring reliable and experienced Independent Contractor Drivers with SPRINTER OR CARGO VAN ONLY!! to join our delivery network for this particular assignment. This role involves 60-70 packages per day. This position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work independently within a dynamic logistics environment. Our warehouse open 7 days per week so the opportunity to keep earning is available. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or personal vehicles for delivery routes. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment as required. Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Assist with warehouse operations including material handling and moving items within the facility. Use mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and delivery confirmations. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and professional interactions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs. Perform safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, ensuring compliance with workplace weight handling standards. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Experience operating box trucks, commercial trucks, or similar vehicles; familiarity with manual transmission is a plus. Prior delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and courier services. Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely in accordance with OSHA standards. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight limits in the workplace. Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards. Reliable transportation for completing deliveries; ownership of a personal vehicle for delivery purposes is preferred if applicable.
