Overview:
We are seeking experienced building contractors for IMMEDIATE work on Whitestone Lake in Dunchurch, ON. The ideal candidate will ideally have minimum of 3 years experience in residential building and must have independent subcontractors insurance.
Responsibilities:
• Build post-and-beam cottage components under the direction of the general contractor

• Read and follow construction drawings, specifications, and site instructions
• Perform framing, structural assembly, finishing, and related carpentry as assigned
• Supply and maintain appropriate tools, equipment, insurance, and transportation
• Work safely, maintain an orderly job site, and follow Ontario safety requirements
• Coordinate respectfully with the general contractor and other trades
• Complete high-quality work on schedule and communicate promptly about delays or site issues
Skills:
• Proven experience in post-and-beam, timber-frame, or residential cottage or home construction
• Strong framing, structural carpentry, and finishing skills
• Ability to read and work from construction drawings and specifications
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Knowledge of proper layout, measuring, levelling, and structural assembly
• Ability to work independently while coordinating well with a general contractor and other trades
• Reliable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to quality workmanship
• Valid insurance, WSIB clearance or proof of independent contractor status, and reliable transportation
Own transportation is required.
