CU TRANSPORT INC.Job description Job Title: Import Specialist bilingual in English and Mandarin Industry: Logistics / Freight Forwarding Location: City of Industry, CA and Jamaica, NY Salary: $ will dep. on experience The Logistics Coordinator must be able to work well with high volume, fast-paced environment, while maintaining clear communication with Customers, Logistics service providers, Warehouses and Mgt. to assure operations meet goals and objectives. QUALIFICATIONS: : 1 years' experience in Ocean freight with an NVOCC/Freight Forwarder Ability to understand customer needs and shipping requirements Basic Microsoft skills (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience using "E-freight" a plus Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment. Clear verbal and written communication as well as organizational skills. JOB DUTIES: Arrange Inbound/outbound cargo shipments - forwarding related Activities Coordinate Shipments with importers, truckers, and carriers. Prepare transfer documents if releasing documents to other brokers. Arrange payment to carriers for inbound consoles.
