Job Overview NOW HIRING — Ocean Import Coordinator Location: Pomona, CA 91768 Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour for entry-level candidates Employment: Full-Time Education: College degree or above Industry: Freight Forwarding / International Logistics Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Ocean Import Coordinator to join our freight forwarding team in Pomona, CA. No prior work experience is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone who is interested in building a career in international shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics . Responsibilities Coordinate ocean import shipments from origin to final delivery Communicate with overseas agents, steamship lines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and customers Track vessel schedules, container status, and cargo delivery Prepare and review import shipping documents Enter shipment information into company systems Follow up on arrival notices, customs clearance, delivery appointments, and container returns Assist with resolving shipment issues and delays Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation Perform other logistics-related duties as needed Qualifications College degree or above No previous freight forwarding experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and problem-solving abilities Comfortable working with computers, email, and Microsoft Office Able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment Must live within approximately a 15-minute drive of Pomona, CA 91768 Bilingual English Spanish or Chinese is a plus , but not required Why Join Us?
