Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee import and export activities, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and company policies. Manage customs clearance processes, including documentation preparation, submission, and compliance with customs regulations. Monitor freight movements and transportation management to optimize delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards. Ensure compliance transportation safety regulations across all logistics operations. Utilize global trade management software and Excel data analysis tools to track shipments, analyze data trends, and generate detailed reports. Maintain regulatory reporting requirements related to trade compliance. Collaborate with customs brokers, freight carriers, and internal teams to facilitate efficient supply chain operations. Conduct risk assessments related to import/export activities and implement mitigation strategies. Stay current on international trade regulations, including export management laws and import management protocols. Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance status, shipment statuses, and operational metrics for management review. Experience Minimum of three years of experience in import/export operations or logistics within a regulated environment. Proven expertise in customs brokerage management, regulatory compliance management, and trade compliance. Technical proficiency with global trade management software systems and advanced Excel data analysis skills. Experience in export management, import management, fleet management, and transportation management is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to write detailed reports and maintain meticulous documentation for regulatory purposes.
