We are seeking an Import/Export Logistics Specialist atSensient Agricultural Ingredients in Turlock, CA.The specialist ensures timely, compliant, and customer-focused execution of all international logistics operations at Sensient Agricultural Ingredients. This role manages documentation for global shipments, reviews international invoices, and tracks cost data to support continuous improvement. The Specialist coordinates with internal teams, customers, and logistics providers to ensure accurate scheduling and on-time delivery. Responsibilities also include overseeing compliance with all regulatory and company policies and collaborating with receiving and warehouse teams for efficient product offloading. What you’ll do: Coordinate the movement of international shipments to meet delivery commitments and ensure customer satisfaction Prepare and review all import and export documentation to meet global shipping regulations Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to monitor shipping status and resolve issues Analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings Lead and support efforts in selecting shipping partners through competitive bid processes Ensure compliance with safety and customs regulations across all shipments Support process improvements using logistics systems and tools What you’ll bring: A background in international logistics with hands-on experience managing import and export operations Strong written and verbal communication skills for working across teams and with external partners An analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions Familiarity with logistics software and confidence using systems to track and manage shipments High attention to detail, especially in managing documentation and regulatory requirements Experience working in a structured, fast-paced environment A commitment to delivering excellent service and driving continuous improvement.
