Intac SolutionAbout the Company Our client seeking an Import Export Coordinator Coordinator to support its international trading and technology parts business. As a small and growing company, team members work across multiple areas of the business rather than within narrowly defined functions. About the Role This position combines international trade operations, purchasing, vendor coordination, customer support, and sales support. The role is designed for an early-career professional who can initially support day-to-day trading and operational activities and gradually take greater ownership of quotations, vendor and customer communication, sourcing, pricing, and business development. Most day-to-day work is office-based and involves email communication, documentation, coordination with vendors and customers, and internal operational support. This is not a warehouse management position. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities International Trade & Operations Prepare and review international trade and shipping documentation, including packing lists and commercial invoices. Coordinate international shipments and communicate with vendors, customers, and logistics partners primarily through email. Review product and parts specifications and ensure required information and documentation are accurate. Support day-to-day import/export and trading operations. Track shipments, lead times, backorders, and other order-related issues. Assist with claims and operational issue resolution. Purchasing & Vendor Coordination Communicate with domestic and international vendors regarding pricing, availability, specifications, and delivery schedules. Prepare and manage quotations. Support purchasing activities and vendor management. Create and process Purchase Orders and invoices using QuickBooks. Follow up on outstanding orders, delivery schedules, and backorders. Support product and supplier sourcing activities. Sales & Customer Support Respond to customer inquiries and provide ongoing order and product support. Assist with quotations, pricing, and sales-related administrative activities. Coordinate between customers, vendors, and internal team members to resolve issues and maintain smooth order fulfillment. As experience develops, independently manage selected customer and vendor communications. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Approximately 1–3 years of professional experience preferred. Previous experience in international trading, import/export documentation, purchasing, procurement, logistics coordination, sales operations, or a related office-based role is highly desirable. Strong written communication skills and comfort handling frequent business communication via email. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple orders, documents, vendors, customers, and deadlines simultaneously. Comfortable working in a small-company environment where responsibilities may overlap across operations, purchasing, customer support, and sales. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with QuickBooks, purchase orders, invoicing, or similar business systems is a plus. Engineering background is not required. Semiconductor industry experience is not required. Warehouse management experience alone is not the target background for this position.
