In office hours - 8am-5pm. Saturdays on demand.
This is working out of the warehouse. Must be able to wear a safety vest, and closed shoes.
Duties
• Coordinate and manage import shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to regulations.
• Prepare and review import documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and packing lists.
• Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to facilitate smooth import operations.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address any issues or delays that may arise during the import process.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Must be able to wear a safety vest and work in the warehouse
• Must be able to count in coming and outgoing freight.
• Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, customers and agents in a timely manner
• Communicate with overseas agents to ensure proper pre-alerts and documentation
• Continue to explore different options to reduce cost, and increase revenues
• Uphold a strong and professional relationship with airlines, transportation agencies and sales
• Maintain shipment files and ensure payment billing is completed within a timely fashion
• Assist with other perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• MUST have 1 year with processing import shipments.
• MUST be able to have 98% attendance record without fail.
• MUST be able to work in-office 8am-5pm. Mon- Fri.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Compensation: $45K-$52K 40+ hours a week. Medical Benefits. PTO. Paid Vacation after one year of service. Free Snacks and coffee.
