Import Coordinator

Location: Delaware County, PA (in office) Employment Type: Full time, hourly Salary Range: $43,680 to $58,240 About the Company Our client is a long established freight forwarder and customs broker that moves goods to and from the world for importers across many industries. They are growing their import team and want people with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn a trade. Experience is welcome, and they will train the right person. About the Role This is data entry with a brain. You will join an import team of seven to nine people, working under a team leader alongside the VP of Operations. Your work will start with traffic, quoting and ISF filings, which means entering and checking shipment documents and data on a tight timeline. Accuracy matters, because mistakes on customs filings can lead to fines and penalties. Each client and product is different, so the work stays interesting for someone who likes a little pressure. What You Will Do Enter and verify shipment data and import documents in the company's proprietary customs system Prepare quotes and ISF (Importer Security Filing) submissions Meet daily deadlines and keep files accurate and complete Ask questions, take coaching and keep improving What We Are Looking For A strong work ethic, a good attitude, and the drive to learn and grow Reliable attendance and the ability to think on your own and meet deadlines Comfortable with computers, including Excel and web research High school diploma or college degree.
