Coordinate and manage international import shipments via air, ocean, and ground
Prepare and review import documentation and customs entries for accuracy and compliance
Communicate with carriers, customs brokers, and vendors to track and expedite freight
Provide responsive customer service, status updates, and issue resolution to clients
Monitor time-critical, sensitive, and high-value shipments to meet delivery deadlines
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and company policies
Update shipment data in logistics systems and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve delays, exceptions, and logistics challenges
Support quoting, routing, and cost optimization for import moves
Participate in continuous improvement of import and logistics processes
Import operations management
Customs documentation and compliance
Freight forwarding (air, ocean, and ground)
Logistics and shipment tracking systems
Customer service and client communication
Regulatory knowledge (CBP, trade compliance)
Problem-solving in time-critical environments
Data entry and recordkeeping accuracy
Rate negotiation and quoting basics
Microsoft Office and logistics software

Customs Broker License (preferred)
Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) (preferred)
IATA/IMDG dangerous goods certification (a plus)
Familiarity with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations
