IF&P Data Specialist
BAE Systems USAJob Description The IF&P Data Specialist will support T‑45 operations by ensuring accurate collection, cleansing, and analysis of data from multiple sources. This information will be used to provide supply‑chain and demand‑forecasting recommendations to the Prime Contractor, helping improve aircraft readiness. In addition to supporting customer operations, the role will also contribute to BAE Systems’ IBP objectives by building strong relationships and supporting the prioritization of BAE Systems OEM orderbook activities. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Knowledge of IF&P activities Ability to interpret maintenance and supply‑chain data Understanding of procurement data Strong customer and vendor relationship skills Ability to operate effectively in high‑pressure customer environments Knowledge of data‑management systems Data Analyst Functions: Data collection, cleansing, validation, trend analysis, and development of actionable insights Proficient in Excel , including advanced data‑analysis functions Ability to analyze maintenance, supply‑chain, and procurement data Strong problem‑solving skills Best‑practice and continuous‑improvement mindset Strong IT and data‑analytics capabilities Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience working with defense logistics or sustainment data Knowledge of military readiness metrics and performance reporting Familiarity with defense supply‑chain systems (e.g., MILSTRIP, FEDLOG, LMP, or similar) Ability to interpret technical maintenance records or engineering change data Understanding of configuration‑management principles Experience using data‑visualization or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) Ability to perform trend, variance, and root‑cause analysis in operational environments Knowledge of forecasting methods used in defense sustainment (e.g., demand modeling, consumption analysis) Experience developing dashboards to support operational decision‑making Familiarity with controlled data environments, data‑security practices, or export‑control considerations Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $79370 - $134929 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
