Position Summary The Hybrid Delivery Driver / Edge Bander Operator is responsible for safely delivering cabinetry and related materials to customer job sites while supporting cabinet production by operating and maintaining the edge banding equipment. This position plays an important role in ensuring our products are manufactured to our quality standards and delivered safely, accurately, and professionally. The successful candidate will be comfortable transitioning between production work in our manufacturing facility and delivery assignments in the field. Strong attention to detail, safe work habits, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential. Key Responsibilities Delivery and Transportation Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver custom cabinetry, cabinet components, and related materials to residential and commercial job sites. Load, secure, transport, and unload cabinetry while protecting finished products from damage. Follow established delivery procedures, including verifying delivery paperwork, confirming materials, and communicating with installers or customers as appropriate. Coordinate with the Delivery Manager and installation team to ensure deliveries are completed according to schedule. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers, installers, contractors, and other team members. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs, damage, or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized truck and follow all company driving and safety protocols. Assist with loading, staging, and organizing deliveries as needed. Edge Bander Operation and Production Operate edge banding equipment to apply edge materials to cabinet components according to production specifications. Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards. Verify materials, part identification, and job information before processing components. Monitor equipment operation and identify issues that may affect production quality or efficiency. Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance according to established procedures. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, and quality concerns to the Production Manager. Assist with other production tasks as needed to support department workflow. Teamwork and Safety Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures. Work collaboratively with the Delivery and Production teams to meet schedules and quality expectations. Communicate clearly regarding delivery status, production progress, and potential problems. Take responsibility for assigned work and help maintain an efficient, respectful workplace. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements. Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck or demonstrate the ability to become qualified through training.
