So you follow all assigned responsibilities according to established safety & security policies, guidelines, and legal regulations, taking an active role in providing a safe working environment. The day to day (italics indicate essential function) Your day begins around 8:00 am and ends around 4:30 pm. Your main responsibilities will be expediting and processing will-call orders as well as coordinating orders with the branch team. You cheerfully interact with customers when they arrive to pick up their order. You’ll have variety in your position as you will also be unloading inbound shipments, determining accuracy of the shipment, receiving product into inventory, and putting items in their correct location. There is also paperwork associated with these tasks. You will know the inventory in the warehouse, and make sure you replenish at appropriate levels. When the team needs help, you make sure you add value to customer service by pulling orders as needed. Or you might even help out at the counter. The warehouse is your domain, and you make sure that it is swept, trash emptied, and all equipment is maintained. You will be part of projects that impact the team as requested.
