HVAC Warehouse Associate
Nimmer Heating & ACWarehouse Associate Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience Job type: Part-time, about 10 to 15 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 8:00 or 9:00 am Vehicle: Company truck provided for parts runs Location In person at our warehouse in Milwaukee, WI. Work covers the Milwaukee and Waukesha County area. About the job Our install and service crews rely on a stocked, organized warehouse. You run it before the workday starts. This is a morning-only role with a real path to full-time install work. Responsibilities Order parts and check in deliveries Keep warehouse inventory accurate Stage materials for upcoming installation jobs Run parts to technicians and pick up from suppliers in a company truck Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including garbage and recycling Handle other warehouse needs as they come up Requirements Very good driving record (we run a motor vehicle record check for insurance approval, this is a firm requirement) Valid driver's license Able to lift up to 50 lbs Reliable for a 6:00 am start, five days a week Clear, timely communication with the crew Mechanically Inclined Future goal of being Residential HVAC technician Nice to have Warehouse, parts room, or inventory experience Any HVAC or trades exposure (not required, we train) Benefits Company vehicle for part runs Phone allowance Who does well here We want someone who shows up on time, notices what needs doing, and does it without being asked. Positive mindset matters! You communicate early when something is short or wrong. You take pride in an accurate count and a tidy space. You are comfortable with detail and with owning your area. Growth Strong performers can move ahead of our usual waiting list for the next entry-level install position once they are available for full days. A formal assessment for that path takes place at the start of next summer.
