HVAC Subcontractor/ Piecework Technician

Codac Solutions has provided HVAC services and subcontracting support through multiple companies and contractors across the Ottawa area. We are now looking to expand our network of high-quality technicians who can help complete ongoing retrofit work tied to established, high-value clients and contacts. We are looking for reliable HVAC subcontractors or piecework technicians for ongoing residential retrofit work. Typical projects include: Furnace replacements Central AC replacements/installations Heat pump and dual-fuel installations Occasional custom sheet metal fit-up, duct alterations, and HVAC rough-in work for renovations and new builds Most work is straightforward residential changeout work, with scope and compensation agreed upon on a job-by-job basis rather than through a rigid piecework rate sheet. Applicants should be established enough to work independently and are expected to have their own reliable work vehicle, standard HVAC installation tools, and equipment required to complete typical retrofit work . Specialized equipment or job-specific requirements can be discussed on a project-by-project basis. We are looking for experienced, dependable installers who take pride in clean workmanship, communicate well, and can complete jobs professionally with minimal supervision. Relevant Ontario HVAC licensing and certifications are required based on the work being performed. The goal is to build consistent working relationships with good technicians and provide regular opportunities as work becomes available. Pay: $1,000.00-$5,000.00 per week Application question(s): How far would you be willing to travel for a subcontract?
