ey, and Westchester. Our Astoria warehouse is the launchpad for every technician heading to a job. When the right part is staged and ready, a restaurant opens on time and a client’s building stays comfortable.
A day in your role
From the first truck roll-in to the last aisle sweep, you own the floor. You’re not purchasing or managing vendors—you’re orchestrating the flow of materials so crews can load fast and roll on schedule.
• Receive and verify: Unload inbound freight, match shipments to orders before signing, and catch shorts, mispicks, or damage at the dock—not weeks later.
• Record immediately: Enter received materials into ServiceTrade the same day.
• Put-away with purpose: Break down pallets, move items via forklift or pallet jack, and stock to fixed, clearly labeled locations.
• Stage for speed: Pull, kit, and stage parts, tools, and equipment by job so crews can load quickly and leave on time.
• Keep the count accurate: Track what leaves and who took it; run cycle counts, investigate variances, and correct records.
• Outbound and returns: Ship orders, process warranties, and manage core returns.
• Fleet and tools: Help track equipment, along with tools checked out and due back.
Keep the building work-ready
• Maintain a clean, safe, well-organized warehouse daily; handle trash, recycling, and housekeeping.
• Make minor fixes and escalate issues early to prevent downtime.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; lift and move up to 50 lbs; expect to be on your feet most of the day.
What you bring
• 3–5 years in warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution (any industry). HVAC-R or mechanical supply experience is a plus, not required.
• Hands-on forklift and pallet jack experience. Certification preferred—if you have the hours, we can certify you.
• Organizational rigor: a place for everything, and a system anyone can follow.
• Receiving discipline: check against the order, document exceptions, and close the loop the same day.
• Comfort with operational software—ServiceTrade and Google Workspace training provided.
• Self-direction: set priorities, communicate clearly with techs, drivers, vendors, and office staff, and finish what you start.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical readiness for warehouse work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Pay, benefits, and growth
• $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience; overtime eligible.
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
• 401(k) with company match.
• Paid time off and paid holidays.
• Company uniforms.
• Ongoing training with exposure to inventory systems, logistics, and fleet support.
• Pathways into the HVAC-R trade if you want to grow in that direction—several teammates started outside the field.

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Shipping/Receiving
• Warehouse Experience
• Forklift Licensed
• High School / GED
