HVAC Dispatcher

Position Overview The HVAC Dispatcher serves as the central point of communication between our customers and field technicians. This is a customer-facing, call-heavy role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing technician schedules, communicating job updates to clients, maintaining service documentation, and ensuring our operations run efficiently each day. Retired HVAC technicians are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and field technicians Provide clients with timely updates regarding service calls and job progress Schedule and dispatch technicians efficiently based on service needs Monitor daily technician check-ins and check-outs Maintain accurate job notes, records, and service documentation Organize and track photos and reports submitted by technicians Coordinate scheduling changes and emergency service requests Ensure all customer interactions are professional, friendly, and responsive Monitor job status and maintain up-to-date internal records Support field operations through effective communication and scheduling management Qualifications Required Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC dispatching or a similar role within the HVAC industry Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems No college degree required; relevant field experience is sufficient Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and customer interactions Ability to work independently in a remote environment Proficiency with email, scheduling software, and general computer applications Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Preferred Previous experience coordinating commercial HVAC service technicians Experience with dispatching or field service management software Retired HVAC technicians are highly preferred What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, personable, and easy to talk to Customer-focused and solution-oriented Highly organized and detail-oriented Dependable and self-motivated Comfortable working in a fast-paced, communication-driven environment Able to build positive relationships with both customers and technicians Compensation & Benefits $25.00 per hour Fully remote position Health Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) with a 10% employer match Opportunity to join a growing and respected HVAC services company Supportive team environment How to Apply If you have HVAC dispatching experience, understand commercial HVAC operations, and enjoy helping customers while keeping service teams organized, we'd love to hear from you.
