HVAC Dispatcher

Job Overview As an HVAC Dispatcher, you’ll keep service calls moving by coordinating technicians, vehicles, and schedules. You’ll use clear communication and organized dispatching to connect customers with timely service while supporting efficient field operations. Your impact: Accurate scheduling and updates help customers get the service they need and help technicians make effective use of their time. Duties Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians based on service needs, location, availability, and transportation planning priorities. Manage multi-line phone systems, phone call management, and customer service inquiries with professional phone etiquette. Enter and update service, vehicle, and shipment information using data entry, typing, vehicle dispatch software, and transportation management systems. Coordinate internal communication with technicians and relevant teams; support logistics, supply chain, shipping and receiving, freight, and third-party logistics (3PL) activities as needed. Use global positioning system (GPS) and geographic information system (GIS) tools, fleet management information, and analysis skills to support routing and road transportation operations; follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Requirements Strong communication, phone communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Experience with dispatching, transportation management, logistics, or road transportation operations. Comfort with Microsoft Office, data entry, typing, and multi-line phone systems. Familiarity with vehicle dispatch software, transportation management systems, GPS, or GIS. Preferred: Oracle Transportation Management experience and exposure to freight, 3PL, supply chain, shipping and receiving, or fleet management.
