HVAC Branch Purchasing Agent/Counter Sales

Overview As a HVAC Branch Purchasing Agent/Counter Sales professional, you’ll control and create purchase orders and delivery schedules, conduct daily cycle counts, assist customers both in-person and over the phone, write up customer orders, and assist in order picking and day-to-day office tasks. You’ll coordinate product deliveries, control inventory levels, and communicate with vendors/suppliers while also supporting counter sales and branch operations to meet sales goals. Duties Purchase products, compare pricing, and coordinate sourcing with vendors. Communicate with vendors and build effective vendor relationships. Communicate with account payable, corporate buyers, warehouse staff, and branch manager. Monitor inventory, support materials management, and coordinate logistics and supply chain needs. Assist customers at the sales counter and phone, respond to product inquiries, produce customer bids, complete customer orders, process warranty paperwork, and support e-commerce orders. Maintain purchasing and receiving filing, spreadsheets, and Excel data analysis; coordinate with accounting and material requirements planning. Experience Experience in HVAC or related industries is preferred. Willing to learn purchasing, procurement, and inventory management. Good customer service, communication skills, basic knowledge of computers, typing and 10 key. Comfortable using spreadsheets such as Excel. Flexible pay scale depending on experience!
