HR Manager

Paramount Logistics is a growing third-party logistics company based in West Covina, CA. We are hiring a hands-on HR Manager to run our day-to-day HR operations and support our growing team. What you'll do: - Own day-to-day HR operations: employee relations, performance management, onboarding, employee files, and HR compliance (California employment law, FMLA/CFRA, ADA, workers' compensation) - Lead a small HR team and coach team members through their daily work - Partner with leadership on workforce planning, headcount, and employee engagement across multiple warehouse and logistics sites - Support recruiting, including hiring for transportation and logistics sales roles (sales managers, account executives, business development) as well as warehouse and operations roles - Coordinate with Payroll on deductions, garnishments, and benefits administration (payroll itself is handled by a dedicated payroll role) - Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and reporting, and drive consistent HR processes across sites Must have: - Broad HR generalist experience, with hands-on experience doing the work — not only managing others who do it - Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or a similar multi-site operations environment preferred - Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance - Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail Nice to have: - Experience leading a small HR team - Experience recruiting sales talent in transportation or logistics - Experience with ADP Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Application Question(s): How many years of HR experience do you have in logistics or 3PL industry?
