Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hotshot Owner Operator and take charge of your driving career! As a key player in our logistics network, you will operate specialized trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in navigating over-the-road (OTR) routes and handling hazardous materials will be vital to our success. We prioritize safety, compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, and providing flexible opportunities for professional growth. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, or tanker trucks, across designated OTR routes Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and safety standards are met Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient routes and adapt to real-time traffic or road conditions Transport hazardous or dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Maintain compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations at all times Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety and roadworthiness Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various freight types Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling expertise Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers Familiarity with GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time adjustments Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards Understanding of hazardous materials regulations for transporting dangerous goods safely Strong adherence to FMCSA, DOT, and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance during all operations Embark on a rewarding driving career that offers independence, variety, and the opportunity to master complex logistics!
