Hotshot OTR Driver
TJR LOGISTICS LLCJob Summary Job Type: Full-time / Contract Location: On the Road (OTR – 3 weeks on, 1 week off) TJR LOGISTICS LLC is seeking experienced, dependable, motivated Hotshot OTR Driver to operate a pickup truck with a 40’ trailer hauling regional and nationwide freight. This position offers independence, consistent loads, and dedicated dispatch support. Requirements Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test. Background: Must have no criminal record, safe driving record, valid driver's license and current DOT medical card. Age: Must be 35+ years old. Licensing & Experience: CDL or Non-CDL accepted. Previous hotshot, trailer hauling, flatbed, and load securing. ELD & Compliance: Must have experience utilizing Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and a strong understanding of DOT compliance and hours-of-service regulations. Language: Basic English communication skills required (must understand and communicate instructions). Primary Duties Safely operate a pickup and 40’ trailer across regional/national routes. Secure flatbed loads (straps, chains and tarping) and perform mandatory pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation. Maintain reliable communication with dispatch regarding ETAs, pickups, and delays while demonstrating proper care and securement of all company equipment. .
