Hotshot Driver - Pick up truck & Trailer - NON CDL

Job description: Looking to hire a pick up truck and trailer driver. NON CDL 8-10 hours a day Monday - Friday Weekend available for extra pay Salary: $4,000 per month + weekend bonuses W2 contract. ⸻ About the Position We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver to join our team in the Detroit, MI area. You’ll be responsible for hauling empty shipping containers to our customers using a company-provided pickup truck and gooseneck trailer. This is primarily a local driving position, meaning you will be home every night. However, from time to time we may need you to travel to a nearby city to assist with deliveries for a week. If overnight stays are required for longer deliveries, a hotel will be provided. ⸻ Responsibilities Safely operate a company pickup truck and gooseneck trailer to move empty shipping containers Inspect and maintain the truck and trailer before and after trips Perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting as needed (checking fluids, tires, lights, etc.) Follow all DOT and company safety procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Maintain accurate delivery records and reports ⸻ Requirements Must be at least 26 years old Must have a valid driver’s license with no incidents or violations in the last 7 years Proven experience driving pickup trucks and trailers (gooseneck experience preferred) Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety Basic mechanical knowledge to handle small maintenance tasks ⸻ Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $4,000 per month Bonus pay for optional weekend work Company-provided truck and trailer All fuel expenses covered by company Hotel provided if overnight travel is ever required Benefits available 6-9 months after employment ⸻ If you take pride in your work, value being home each night, and have experience hauling with pickups and trailers, we’d love to hear from you.
