Hotshot Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer and flatbed trailer operations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering freight to designated locations. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Responsibilities Operate a dually truck hooked to a flatbed trailer. Securing loads to the flatbed. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations while on duty. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Hotshot or flatbed experience. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including box trucks, and freight vehicles. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roadways is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
