Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to execute same-day or time-sensitive deliveries across designated routes Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Follow detailed delivery schedules and route plans, ensuring punctuality and efficiency in every trip Adhere strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards during all driving activities Communicate effectively with dispatch teams using mobile devices to confirm delivery statuses or report issues promptly Provide excellent customer service by ensuring proper handling of goods and maintaining a professional demeanor during deliveries Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety, proper functioning, and compliance with legal requirements Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier roles with a focus on route driving and timely deliveries Warehouse experience including material handling, moving heavy loads, manual lifting practices, and warehouse operations knowledge Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or vans confidently and safely Familiarity with load & unload procedures using equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks; capable of heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe driving practices Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during deliveries Competence in using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes This role is paid and offers a vibrant environment where your driving skills make a tangible impact every day!
