You will operate specialized equipment, navigate diverse routes, and deliver high-priority cargo safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Equipment & Driving: Safely operate a truck with a 40-foot flatbed trailer to execute regional route driving plans. Cargo Management: Efficiently load, unload, and securely strap/chain freight. Ensure proper weight distribution and compliance with weight limits. Safety & Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain strict safety standards (including monthly reports). Adhere to all traffic laws. Communication: Maintain clear, effective communication with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or road issues. Documentation: Keep accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery paperwork in compliance with regulatory requirements. Experience Licensing: Valid driver’s license ( Non-CDL ) and a current DOT medical card (physical). Driving Experience: Proven commercial freight delivery experience, preferably in hot shot or expedited trucking. Flatbed Expertise: Demonstrated ability to handle a 40-foot flatbed trailer, including advanced knowledge of load-securing procedures. Navigation Skills: Strong route planning and navigation skills across various regions to ensure on-time deliveries. Training & Onboarding: Willingness to complete a mandatory two-day training and vehicle/vessel inspection in Zanesville, OH . Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,800.00 per week Work Location: On the road
