LOU’S GRILL ABBOTSFORD Job Title: Host & Food Expediter Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Compensation: Competitive hourly wage + competitive tip share ($8-$10 per hour) Join Our Team at Lou's Grill! We're a fast-paced, high-energy bar and grill known for our great food, friendly service and lively atmosphere. We're currently hiring a Host & Food Expediter to be the first and last point of contact for our guests and ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. Responsibilities As a Host, you will: Greet guests warmly and professionally Manage waitlists and reservations using DineTime Maintain seating chart and balance server sections Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area As a Food Expediter, you will: Act as the communication link between the kitchen and serving staff Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets our quality and presentation standards Keep track of chit times and ensure timely delivery of dishes Assist servers with garnishes, condiments, and order accuracy Maintain a clean and organized expo line Qualifications: Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required - we're happy to train the right person Excellent communication and multitasking skills Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team oriented environment Positive attitude and strong work ethic Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs What We Offer: A fun, team-focused environment Flexible scheduling Opportunities for advancement Competitive Weekly tip share averaging $7-$9/hr Ready to join our team?
