Four Seasons, The Care You TrustHOME STORE LOGISTICS COORDINATOR Reports To: Home Store Retail Director / General Manager Status: Hourly (Non-Exempt) FT, PT, PRN: FT - Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, with some Saturday Hours. Shift: Days Location: Hospice Home Store- Henderson County / Warehouse / Buncombe County / Transylvania County Position Summary: The Home Store Logistics Assistant Manager is responsible for the daily scheduling of pickups/deliveries and works closely with the Operation Manager(s) from each location to ensure a strong level of customer/donor service is maintained. They will oversee the Home Store Driver teams for all pickup and deliveries within the Home Store(s) and Warehouse. He/she is also responsible for the warehouse inventory levels, standards, and assists with Warehouse sale preparation. Additionally, the Home Store Logistics Assistant Manager works closely with the Retail Director and Operations Manager(s) to ensure each Home Store is stocked appropriately which may involve the logistics of moving donated merchandise between locations. Load and unload household goods from residences, businesses to truck and vice versa. As needed, assist driver teams to deliver items sold at the retail store to the customer and pick up donated items as required. Pack or wrap household goods to protect them from damage during transportation, storage and/or shipping. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of any Four Season’s truck/vehicle used for the effective operation of the Home Store(s) and Warehouse. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Work to achieve performance goals, pursue progress toward individual development plan (IDP) and demonstrate Four Seasons values and competencies Represent the values of Four Seasons in the community when picking up donated items and delivering sold items by: Respect the customer/donor and providing excellent, courteous, and gracious customer service Act in a positive and professional manner when providing service to the community as an employee of Four Seasons Handle donated items and delivered items with respect, care, and safety Adhere to company moving policies and procedures to pack, unpack, load and unload all goods Provide tax receipts for donated items Respect donor’s property and wishes Perform other yet similar duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of proper body mechanics Excellent organization skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, if needed Ability to participate as a team player Availability and potential to work in multiple retail locations, to include the Warehouse and Home Store 2. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Some driving and loading of delivery and/or large vehicles (Due to liability insurance requirements, must be 21 years old to operate a delivery and/or large vehicle) Licensures & Certifications: (if applicable) Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance Summary of Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, sitting, crawling Bending, reaching, flexion/extension of arms, wrist, and feet Hand dexterity including pushing/pulling Lifting or carrying pushing/pulling of 100 lbs.
