Home Staging Mover

The Home Staging Mover is an essential part of the staging team, responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, assembling, installing, and organizing furniture and décor for home staging projects. This is a hands-on, physically active position that requires attention to detail, dependability, teamwork, and care when handling company inventory and working in clients' homes. The ideal candidate takes pride in doing quality work, works efficiently, and understands the importance of protecting furniture, accessories, and properties throughout every project. Key Responsibilities Loading & Unloading Load and unload company trucks for daily staging and de-staging projects. Safely move furniture, artwork, accessories, rugs, lamps, and other staging inventory. Properly wrap, pad, secure, and protect furniture and décor during transportation. Organize truck loads efficiently while ensuring inventory is protected from damage. Assist with determining the safest and most efficient way to move large or awkward items. Use moving equipment properly and follow all lifting and safety procedures. Staging & De-Staging Assist the design team with staging homes according to the staging plan. Move and position furniture and accessories as directed by the designer or team lead. Hang artwork, mirrors, and other wall décor safely and accurately. Assist with making beds and completing rooms according to the design plan. Carefully remove furnishings and décor during de-staging appointments. Protect walls, floors, doorways, furniture, and other property while moving items in and out of homes. Ensure all company inventory is removed from the property during de-staging. Report any missing or damaged inventory to management. Furniture Assembly & Installation Assemble furniture and staging pieces according to manufacturer instructions. Build beds, tables, chairs, desks, shelving, and other furnishings as needed. Safely install artwork, mirrors, and other décor. Use hand tools and basic power tools appropriately. Ensure assembled furniture is stable, secure, and ready for use in a staged home. Report any damaged or defective furniture to management. Warehouse Responsibilities Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Return furniture and accessories to their proper locations after staging and de-staging projects. Organize and straighten inventory throughout the warehouse. Clean furniture, décor, mirrors, lamps, and other inventory as needed. Assist with preparing inventory for upcoming staging projects. Help identify and report damaged, missing, or worn inventory. Keep work areas, loading areas, and trucks clean and organized. Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed. Teamwork & Professionalism Work closely with designers, movers, and team leads to complete projects efficiently. Follow directions from the designer or Moving Lead. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project needs and challenges. Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and care. Represent the company professionally when working in clients' homes. Treat clients' homes, belongings, and properties with care and respect. Maintain a positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude. Arrive on time and be prepared for the day's assignments. Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position that requires regular: Lifting and carrying furniture and décor. Moving sofas, tables, chairs, beds, mattresses, dressers, and other furnishings. Loading and unloading trucks. Walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs. Moving large and awkward items through doorways, hallways, and stairways. Working indoors and outdoors and in a variety of home environments.
