Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver heating oil to residential and commercial customers. Follow established routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safety standards. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage delivery documentation accurately using mobile devices or digital systems for tracking routes, deliveries, and inventory. Skills Proven delivery driver experience with a strong focus on route driving and customer service excellence. Experience operating commercial trucks. Ability to adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols during all driving activities. Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules efficiently using mobile devices or route management tools. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
