We are a family orientated company who continues to grow every year and are expanding again. We are currently looking for a Class A Truck Driver for our Bloomsburg, PA yard. Summary: During the day, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up material in day cabs attached to a dump trailer, roll off trailers, or van trailers and delivering and picking up roll off boxes in a roll off truck as efficiently as possible while promoting an environmentally compliant and accident-free workplace. Hours are Monday through Friday, and home every night! Responsibilities: Ability to safely operate a manual Class A truck with Van Trailers, Roll Off Trailers and Dump Trailers attached. Ability to safely operate a Class B truck roll off truck on specified routes to collect & deliver roll off boxes of material. Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees and customers. Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. Requirements - Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement and no Automatic Restriction listed as a minimum. - Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. - Manual dexterity to handle tools and the ability to move 50 pounds. - Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English. - Basic knowledge of truck components in order to complete pre and post trip inspections & ability to operate Manual Transmission. - Ability to manage personal responsibilities in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while providing excellent customer service. - Ability to follow safe operating practices, including a working knowledge of DOT requirements. - Ability to effectively communicate with dispatch/supervisors.
