What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)
This role requires a balance of supervision and hands-on work (50% of the shift):
• Team Leadership & People Management:
• Oversee a team of 6-15 associates, coordinating tasks to achieve production targets.
• Set clear, performance-driven goals for the team.
• Provide constructive feedback and recognize team achievements consistently.
• Coaching and training team members while participating in operations.
• Encourage open communication and proactively resolve conflicts.
• Lead safety briefings and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues.
• Home Delivery Operational Oversight:
• Track and manage key performance indicators, focusing on deluxing metrics.
• Oversee deluxing operations, including unboxing, inspecting, and re-packaging items for delivery.
• Manage inbound trailer processing and assist with unloading and loading delivery vehicles.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and quality audits.
• Handle daily driver returns, grading and coordinating reattempts.
• Maintain site cleanliness and assist in opening/closing the facility as needed.
What You'll Need (Minimum Requirements)
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, knowledgeable in various departments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to make decisions and motivate others.
• Physical capability to stand for 10 hours, lift 75 lbs unassisted, and handle up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Effective communication skills for emails and instant messages.
• Experience with Warehouse Management and Exception Ticket Management Systems; PIV Certification preferred.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED, and previous warehouse experience.
