Home Delivery Manager - Last Mile Logistics

We are currently in need of a Delivery Operations Manager to oversee one of our high end furniture home delivery operations in the Chicagoland area. This leader will oversee and recruit our network of independent home delivery contract carriers, partner and interact with our clients, and make sure that each and every delivery customer has an amazing delivery experience. Required skills used include computer-based routing system knowledge, Microsoft 365 applications, verifiable customer service excellence, above-average verbal and electronic communication skills, adherence to established processes, and process development ability. Required 2 year experience in 3PL or related logistics field. Excellent organization and critical thinking skills required Strong Oral and Verbal communication skills required Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred Ability to positively motivate others in the work environment Multi-tasking ability in a fast paced environment Ability to produce and execute development plans for several direct reports DOT and Federal regulations knowledge Experience resolving In-home damage and merchandise claims Flexibility of schedule is required. Weekends and early morning shifts are required. Candidates with last mile logistics experience and a professional network in the Chicagoland contract carrier community are preferred.
