Job Summary As a Home Delivery Driver at Premiere Van Lines, you will be the friendly face of our company, responsible for safely delivering furniture and home goods directly to our customers’ homes. Your role is vital in ensuring a positive experience by providing excellent customer service, handling heavy items with care, and navigating efficiently through your delivery routes. Duties Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport furniture and home products to customer locations Load and unload heavy items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while maintaining high safety standards Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details and answer any questions professionally Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports throughout your shift Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and manage inventory efficiently Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery roles preferred Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly while following safety protocols Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with customers and team members Warehouse experience or familiarity with moving equipment such as forklifts is a plus Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required Pay: $18.15-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Vision care Work Location: In person
