We’re here for it. We think you should be too. The Home Delivery Center Coordinator is the vital link between Crate and Barrel and the 3rd party service provider at the home delivery center. In this role, you will liaise with internal stakeholders, drivers, vendors, customers, and contracted carriers in planning the movement of freight. A day in the life as a Home Delivery Center Coordinator... Manages the shipment and routing of outbound freight to ensure cost-efficient and timely delivery of product Research various transportation methods, investigating cost and performance. Liaises with internal stakeholders, drivers, vendors, customers, and contracted carriers in planning the movement of freight Handles and resolves escalated customer service issues directly with the customer Investigates and resolves issues related to damages, shortages, and overages Rotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the business Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position Coordinates meetings and communications between the cross-dock, stores, drivers and Distribution Center to maintain the highest level of service Trains and monitors third party contractors on Crate and Barrel delivery procedures and monitors compliance to ensure standards of service Promotes a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates Ensures all customers are provided with exceptional service Performs all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals What you'll bring to the table...
