Home Every Weekend Our normal schedule is regional work with drivers home every weekend. Most drivers leave around 5:00 AM Monday morning , although some choose to leave Sunday evening to get a head start on the week. Depending on the week's freight and your personal plans, you may sometimes be able to get home during the week as well. If you have an important family event, we will work with you when we can. We understand that your family matters. Newer Trucks & Trailers You won't be climbing into an old truck and wondering whether it's going to make it through the week. Our equipment is 5 years old or newer , including: Freightliner Cascadias Peterbilt 579s 84-cubic-yard Western belt trailers Hydraulic belt trailers operated from the truck's wet kit Automatic transmissions Sleeper trucks Air conditioning Large sleepers with plenty of storage Some trucks equipped with refrigerators Some trucks equipped with TVs Some trucks equipped with APUs Some trucks equipped with inverters Trucks are assigned to drivers, and drivers are allowed to take their trucks home. Most of our work is plant-to-farm , delivering feed to farmers who depend on us to keep their livestock fed. You may also occasionally haul: Landscaping materials Organic fertilizer Other bulk agricultural products Our customers are primarily farmers, and many are customers we have worked with for years. You will get to know many of the same customers and delivery locations. Why does that matter? Because our customers are some of the best people you will meet. They understand trucking. They treat our drivers with respect. And when something unusual happens, they are often willing to help. We've even had customers help our drivers troubleshoot or repair equipment when a truck has had a rare problem at the farm. We want our drivers to be proud to pull into a customer's driveway with a TLP truck. WHERE YOU'LL RUN This is regional work within approximately a 400-mile radius of our operation. Our drivers commonly run throughout: Missouri Arkansas Tennessee Mississippi Indiana Illinois Wisconsin Iowa Minnesota South Dakota Kansas Oklahoma Some weeks may be heavier in Missouri.
