Role Description Fast Track Dispatch is hiring full-time MC Owner-Operators operating 26ft box trucks, 40ft hotshot trucks, and semi trucks for on-site work based in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, owner-operators will transport freight to designated locations, follow assigned routes and schedules, and maintain consistent communication with dispatch to ensure on-time pickup and delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing load information, verifying shipment details, securing cargo, and completing all required documentation and logs. Owner-operators are expected to keep equipment in safe operating condition, comply with all DOT and safety regulations, and provide professional, courteous service to customers and partners. The position focuses on reliable, high-quality transportation support within a structured dispatch framework. Qualifications Possess a valid MC authority, active DOT number, and all required operating credentials for 26ft box trucks, 40ft hotshot trucks, or semi trucks. Hold a valid driver’s license (CDL as applicable), with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices. Demonstrated experience as an owner-operator or professional driver in regional or long-haul freight operations. Ability to manage trip planning, routing, and time management to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient load handling. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers and to resolve issues promptly. Capability to maintain vehicles in good working order, including basic equipment inspection and attention to preventive maintenance. Reliable access to required insurance coverage, registration, and compliant equipment (e.g., straps, chains, load securement tools). Professional attitude, commitment to customer service, and readiness to adhere to company policies and safety standards.
