Responsibilities Safely operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments Assist with order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory control Load and unload materials efficiently, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards Manage inventory by organizing stock in designated warehouse areas and updating records in warehouse management systems Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing goods for dispatch or storage, ensuring proper manual handling techniques are followed Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as pallet jacks and cranes, reporting any mechanical issues promptly Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on daily operations, including heavy lifting tasks and materials handling projects Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles involving heavy equipment operation Familiarity with warehouse operations including inventory management systems, RF scanners, and material handling procedures Mechanical knowledge of forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, crane operation, and other heavy equipment Strong understanding of safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards for manual handling and heavy lifting Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and shipment documentation Construction or industrial experience is a plus for understanding mechanical systems and safety practices Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors Hi, this is Brittney with Precision Lumping Services. This is an in-person warehouse position involving electric pallet jack operation, loading/unloading, order picking, RF scanners, inventory management, and heavy lifting.
