Hiring Asap Dry Van/ Bulk Commodities (CDL-A)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently using various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills. Duties Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques as required. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and other pertinent information. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Handle refrigerated trailers or roll-off trucks as needed for specific deliveries. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the truck. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers or similar vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members. Physical ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
