Hilo Driver - Warehouse (1st or 2nd Shift)

Currently we are looking for a Forklift Driver. The forklift driver’s primary responsibility is to ensure that that all machines are stocked with necessary materials and components. They are also responsible for removal of all finished stock and placing it in its designated area as well as the removal of trash and scrap. They must also ensure workstations have empty packaging and/or racks while adhering to company policies and procedures. However, there may be times when the forklift driver will be required to perform other duties as requested through management or his/her supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ·· Ability to safely operator the stand up & sit down Forklift. · Complete the daily inspection as required · Ensure press running has enough empty boxes, bins, totes or crates · Removal of finished stock from drop zones · Change propane or battery following all safety procedures · Empty trash · Remove scrap parts and place in designated area · Verify labeling is correct · Maintain shift to shift communication · Attention to detail · Teamwork and communication skills · Keep work area clean and organized · Follow all safety and company policies and procedures · Responsibilities include all listed above, but are not limited only to those listed above Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Application Question(s): Which shift are you willing to work? 1st or 2nd Experience: Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
